Hot Mom Swims Fast
Dara Torres is Amazing
Dara Torres represented the USA as a swimmer in Beijing for her American-record fifth Olympics. If you’ve been living under a rock for the past few weeks then let me introduce you to her with a brief summary of her resume: 28 NCAA All-American swimming awards, the afore mentioned 5 Olympic appearances, 3 world records, 4 Olympic Gold Medals, not to mention the first athlete to appear in the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue in 1994…1994? Yep. Dara had a child in 2006 and just three weeks after her daughters birth she was in the water and breaking records at the Masters Nationals. So, to say the least she is superwoman at the young age of 41. I think I speak for most both genders when I say “It takes one very special athlete these days to give birth to a child then jump in a pool and win Olympic medals at the age of 41….and to do it steroid free.” Is it wrong to have a crush on a 41 year old mom? If so, I am guilty. On behalf of HPTV Congrats Dara to you, your family, and for the 3 silver medals in Beijing. U-S-A! Oh yeah, Michael Phelps did OK, too.
